Little Rabbit Foo Foo!

Easter baskets filled...check, eggs hidden in the backyard...check, chocolate bunnies and stuffed animal...check!

Showing some of the presents grandma bought!

Caleb and his Easter eggs!

McKayla and her Easter eggs!

Avery smiling with her Easter Bunny!

Stretching like her bunny!

Avery and her Easter Basket full of goodies.  Avery received from the Easter Bunny: 2 sun dresses and Weeble Wobbles galore.

I got up at 6am to hide Easter eggs all over the back yard.  Each kid had one half of the yard, so it was fair for McKayla and Caleb not to get in the way of each other.  They had a great time.  This year I made it really tough for McKayla to find her eggs.  She is getting to be a pro...I have no clue what I will do next year!

Caleb found some of his eggs hidden in the trees.

McKayla found some eggs wedged in the trees.

In the end it was a wonderful morning.  Perfect weather for both McKayla and Caleb to hunt.  All eggs were accounted for.

The weather got warmer so Avery was able to sit outside in the grass for the first time.  Here is a picture of her treating her Easter Bunny as if it is a chocolate one.

I call the the Disney Princess pose.  Every cartoon I have seen the girl has her arms out so angelic.

Move over people I am coming through!

Avery is mobile!  I repeat Avery is mobile!  Hide everything if you do not want it slobbered with baby drool.

This is how I trick you into thinking I am innocent.  I use my super powers by smiling at you!

This is my brother, Caleb, he is teaching me things I should not know yet.

See, he is a pro at distracting adults...especially grandparents.  He says, "Just tilt your head sis."  He is right, it does work!

We then proceed to play silly games and laugh and smile at each other so that others watch us.

I needed a break so I thought I would chew on my rings.

Can you really resist this face?!?

Look what I can do!

Avery has been very determined to move around the house and to see things in a different perspective.  She recently acquired a new found way of impressing her family and friends.  This week she has mastered sitting up!  It does not take her long as in a few seconds....bam....she is upright, smiling, and playing with her toys.

Avery also loves to find paperback books.  Here you can see that she is following her siblings by reading the Wii manual for one of the games.

Although Avery will be turning 9 months this April, she still is a small little petite girl.  This is McKayla's Build a Bear "Hunny Bunny"  Notice that there is only a slight difference.

I know that I am so cute!

Visiting the Easter Bunny!

Today was Avery's first time visiting the Easter Bunny!  She was a decked out in her spring outfit.  Once we got to our destination, she decided to have a very wet diaper...so, we had to go to JCPenney's and by her something to cover her cute little legs.  Thank goodness daddy was working.

On our second attempt, we were able to get a decent picture...however, by the time I got home, I noticed a typical thing in Avery's pictures....she is missing one sock.  Go figure.

So, for those of you who normally receive an Easter card from us, this is what you will be seeing...a cropped version!
